How to Make Kefir

What is Kefir?
Kefir is a cultured, enzyme-rich food filled with friendly micro-organisms that help balance your "inner ecosystem." More nutritious and therapeutic than yogurt, it supplies complete protein, essential minerals, and valuable B vitamins. Drinkable but is also great over cereal and in smoothies.
Items needed
Glass Quart Jar
Fresh Milk
Kefir Grains
Plastic Strainer (optional)
Add 3 cups of Milk and Kefir Grains into the Glass Quart Jar. Cover and agitate the Jar. Allow mixture to ferment for 18 to 24 hours. Agitate the Jar twice during fermentation. Pour through strainer or use a slotted spoon to recover the grains and begin again!
I got my starter grains at www.fotv.com
