These are the recipes that my Grandmother fed her Family of 16 with.
Yes I said 16....14 Kids and Grandma and Grandpa.
The Cookbook was well used. The binding is gone and the book is held together with rubber bands. The pages are stained and aged.You can tell it was used very often and well loved.
I am honored that I am the keeper of my Grandma's Cookbook.
I thought it would be fun to share recipes from the Cookbook with you.
Of course Grandma would have had to double if not triple most of the recipes.

Grandma's Recipes
Barbecued Frankfurters and Noodles
Place 3 cups of cooked noodles in shallow baking dish.
Arrange 1 pound of frankfurters over the noodles.
Cover with barbecue sauce
Bake in moderate oven (375 degrees) for 30 minutes.
Makes 4 to 6 servings
1/4 cup Mazola Salad Oil
1/4 cup chopped onions
1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup water
1 cup chili sauce
Place Mazola Salad Oil and onions in saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring frequently, about 10 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients and simmer 15 minutes. Stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat.
Makes 2 cups Sauce.
