More Frugal Stuff- Cleaning

I recently got the Rubbermaid Commercial Grade Microfiber Floor Care Kit at Home Depot.

The set includes the quick swivel head Handle, a pad for dry sweeping and a pad for damp mopping.

This will replace all my Swiffer Products. I have the Swiffer Sweeper and the Wet Jet Swiffer. While the Swiffer stuff is great, It is basically throwing out money. You use a pad and then you throw it away. The Rubbermaid pads are washable and are good for HUNDREDS of uses. With the product being commercial grade it should be tough and last for years.

I am also going to replace my Swiffer Dusters with good old fashioned dusting.....rags and furniture polish. It may be a little more time consuming but in the long run it will save money.
