I am getting old

I am getting old ......older by the day.

Last Fall I realized that I needed reading glasses. It was to the point that I could not see anything up close. I was straining to read and had to use the old rubber arm....you know stretching your arm out until what you are reading comes into focus. Well.... I went to the store and found me some reading glasses. The good news was I only needed 1.25 magnification. I started using the glasses and things were better.

Fast forward, present date...... I noticed that the glasses weren't working so great anymore. Things were blurry and again and I was straining to read. So while I was at the store today, I looked at some new reading glasses. Bad news is I had to go up to 1.75 magnification.

What's next.... Bifocals?????

You don't look old enough for reading glasses. I think it's time for a trip to the dreaded eye doctor... ugh! I wear contacts and I hate going in there.

Hi Carolyn, it's so nice to meet you. Thanks for stopping by my post. First let's not use the the term older, how about "BETTER". You know in so many other ways we're much better than before, glasses and all. I loved that your grandmother saved the things that had been special for you, and I'm glad that you can still share them with thoughts of her. Love your doggies and will be stopping by now that I've added you to my list of favorites. Deb

No, you definitely aren't old - you ARE beautiful though. I have to have my reading glasses now too to see anything it seems.

Ha, it happens to the best of us. I have worn trifocals for many years now. :)
