Food Storage Haul

Due to reports of food prices rising and having some extra money, I ordered some food storage items.

White Sugar
Brown Sugar
White Flour
Wheat Flour
Shortening Powder
Scrambled Egg Mix
Dry Milk

Our current Food Storage Series of Using your Food Storage Everyday.
So it kind of good timing that my order arrived today.

Food Storage items are sealed in #10 cans and
on an average will store YEARS.
But I encourage you to use your storage items everyday.
It saves money and saves time.

All this cost me less than $150.00

I am glad that I found your blog! It has encouraged me to keep going in my efforts to stock up. You've got some great links, too.

Thanks,
Brenda

I'm so glad I found your blog link on Homestead Revival. I'm a neighbor! 30 minutes away, but a neighbor none-the-less! Can't wait to read more.

Carolyn - what's you favorite place to purchase stock up items from? Thus far I've been buying in bulk locally and from our buying clubs (Frontier and UNFI) and repackaging myself.

Stopping by from the challenge. I would like to know also where do you buy your stock up items.

Laurie- I buy from Sam's (local and online), Emergency Essentials, Augason Farms and just did my first order from Shelf Reliance. I watch the sales and deals and buy where it is cheaper.

Rana- We are lucky enough to have a basement. One whole corner of the basement is shelves of food and other survival items. Other items are stored in and around the house and garage.

Carolyn, Thanks for linking up to the Challenge. Great items you've purchased and you're so right... use it and replace as you go!
