Food Storage Series

Autumn Beans

8 slices bacon, chopped
1/4 cup minced onion
1 cup apple cider
2 (16 ounce) cans baked beans, undrained
1/4 cup raisins
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

DIRECTIONS
In a skillet, lightly fry bacon. Remove to paper towel to drain. Discard all but 2 tablespoons drippings.


Saute onion in the drippings until tender.

Add all remaining ingredients.

Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
