Calm after the Storm

The Blizzard is over.
Snow fall totals were anywhere from 14 to 20 inches around the Dayton Metro area.
It is hard to get accurate measurements because of all the blowing, drifting snow.
This Storm has set the 2nd highest snow fall record for this area.
None the less......I snapped this picture of a pretty sunset after the storm.

Crikey I do not think I have seen so much snow! Were we live (Somerset, UK) we would be lucky to have one snow flake to settle this year, as its been such a mild and wet winter.

Beautiful photos. Even though it is nearly spring... there is nothing so lovely as a fresh snow.
Thank you for stopping by my blog. Give your pups a hug... We have two beagles...
Hope it melts quickly!

I was away apartment hunting in a new city this weekend. The city was hit with 50cm of snow overnight. It was pretty snowy. Yup.
