Kashi Mountain Medley will remind you of your favorite trail mix. Toasted seven whole grain clusters are mixed with: a touch of honey and maple; chewy cranberries and raisins; crunchy almonds and pecans; and delicious sunflower seeds and coconut flakes.
Kefir is a cultured, enzyme-rich food filled with friendly micro-organisms that help balance your "inner ecosystem." More nutritious and therapeutic than yogurt, it supplies complete protein, essential minerals, and valuable B vitamins.
I learned about Kefir from Robbyn at http://homesteadingthebackforty.blogspot.com/.
I did a little reading on line about it and was happy to find it at my local health food store. I also checked the Companies Website and it said that it is carried in most Kroger Stores. So I will have to look for it the next time I go to Kroger.
My new Favorite Breakfast. It is good for me and YUMMY too!
thanks for stopping by my blog to visit. i am going to have to try out kefir if i can find it at my kroger...always looking for new healthy breakfast choices!
ReplyDeleteOh how cool, I'm so glad you discovered that you like Kefir, too!
ReplyDeleteI finally bonded with the CSY...you know I've had a hard time finding my niche with it. Now it's right up there with the Kefir, too, in smoothies. I made a blueberry/black cherry one just a few secs ago with about 2 cups of the Caspian Sea Yogurt, and a Tablespoon or so of honey. Whether with the kefir or the CSY, YUM! The Kashi is a great idea...I love that stuff :) Thanks for linking to my site :)
Thanks for visiting my blog. I love your doggies. I scrolled down your blog and saw your post on The Memory Keepers Daughter. I read that book but did not realize that is was a movie too. I thought it was pretty good but not one of my favorites. About the same time I also read The Glass Castle which was excellent. Did you read that one?
